The idea of a vacuum cleaner as a housekeeping tool was brought to us by an Englishman named Henry Cecil Booth. In the 1950’s, this man invented the very first vacuum cleaner and dubbed it “Puffin Billy”. It started as a gasoline powered machine, but nonetheless was the beginnings of the Henry vacuum cleaner.  (more…)
